The rifle is very powerful. Through and through shot on a squirrel after a 5 shot sight in. The sad part is the ergonomics of this rifle are way off. You cant use the open sights on this rifle without forcing yourself to duck down to where you’re upper cheek bone sits on the stock, then you can get somewhat of a sight alignment but when you pull the trigger the vibration and kick rattles your skull. I have long arms and the platform of this rifle still stretches out uncomfortabley for me. Im waiting for a Vortex scope to come in to see if that will take up the distance with its eye relief. You have to back the factory scope as far back as you can set it on the rings and base to get a good sight picture. I want this rifle to work out so bad I thought of altering the stock but Gamo said they would take it back as long as it is not altered. I love the color and the power this rifle has. It is accurate but you have to strain to line the sights up. My scope comes in on Wednesday so I guess I will have to decide from there. I will get back with you if I can.
