Description
The Swarm Viper 10X GEN3i was built for shooters who want fast follow-up shots, real-world power, and a rifle that feels modern in the hands. At the center of it is GAMO’s 10X GEN3i system with a horizontal, inertia-fed magazine that keeps the profile low and the rifle more compact. Instead of a tall magazine sitting up top, this setup stays sleek and balanced—and the magazine advances using the rifle’s recoil, helping each pellet line up smoothly for consistent breech loading.
Comfort is handled the way it should be on an everyday hunting and pest-control rifle. The stock is made from automotive-grade, glass-filled synthetic, built to take weather and hard use, with rubber inserts on the forearm, grip, and cheek area to keep the rifle planted and comfortable during longer sessions.
On the firing line, the Viper also stacks the right upgrades. Whisper Maxxim sound suppression helps keep the report down by directing air through multiple chambers to reduce muzzle noise. The IGT gas piston replaces the traditional spring to deliver a steadier shot cycle with less vibration, which can translate into better control and more consistent accuracy. Add the two-stage C.A.T. trigger, and you get a cleaner, more tunable trigger feel that helps you break shots with confidence instead of fighting a heavy pull.
To protect your optics, GAMO finishes the package with the Recoil Reducing Rail (RRR)—a scope-mounting system designed to absorb the sharp recoil impulses air rifles can generate, helping extend scope life and keep your zero from wandering. Put it all together and the Swarm Viper 10X GEN3i becomes a well-rounded option for hunters and backyard shooters who want speed, refined handling, and the latest GAMO tech in one platform. A Gamo 3-9×40 scope is included.
Every Swarm Fusion Viper 10X GEN3i multishot pellet air rifle includes 10 shot magazine.
10X GEN3i INERTIA FED
Fast reloads, low profile, and a smarter magazine layout. The third generation of GAMO’s rapid-reload system—10X GEN3i—takes the same “shoot more, reload less” idea and refines it with a cleaner, more compact setup. The key is the horizontal, inertia-fed magazine, designed to sit sleek and close to the rifle instead of adding bulk. As you shoot, the magazine advances using the rifle’s recoil energy, helping each pellet line up smoothly for a more consistent, more precise breech-loading cycle. It’s a modern approach to multi-shot break-barrel shooting—and it’s pure GAMO.
WHISPER MAXXIM NOISE SUPPRESION
GAMO also pairs that speed with proven sound moderation. The company’s Whisper system is offered in three levels—Whisper, Whisper Maxxim, and Whisper Fusion—so you can choose quiet, quieter, or the quietest option depending on the model. Just keep expectations realistic: “quieter” doesn’t mean silent. The pellet you choose plays a big role in how the rifle sounds. In general, lighter pellets pushed faster (especially in smaller calibers) tend to be sharper and louder, while heavier pellets at slower speeds often produce a more muted report. For an easy comparison, check the chart above.
IGT (Inert Gas Technology) GAS PISTON
Get more out of every shot with GAMO’s IGT (Inert Gas Technology) power system. Instead of a traditional steel spring, IGT uses a sealed gas cylinder to drive the piston—so the rifle cocks with a steady, consistent feel and fires with less vibration. That smoother shot cycle can help you stay on target, tighten groups, and make your hits count in the field.
The payoff is more consistent power and strong performance across common calibers, with alloy pellets rated up to 1,300 fps in .177 and up to 1,000 fps in .22. Whether you’re hunting, managing pests, or putting in range time, IGT is built to deliver a cleaner, more controlled shooting experience without the spring “twang” many break barrels are known for.
CAT (Custom Action Trigger)
GAMO’s C.A.T. (Custom Action Trigger) lets you tune the trigger to match the way you shoot. Instead of a fixed two-stage feel, C.A.T. gives you separate adjustments for both the first and second stage, so you can set the take-up and the break exactly where you want them.
To change the first stage, back the adjustment screw out to add more travel, or tighten it to shorten the take-up. The second stage is just as straightforward: loosen the second adjustment point to lengthen the final stage, or turn it in to reduce travel for a quicker, crisper break. It’s an easy way to dial in a cleaner trigger pull for better control and more consistent accuracy.
RRR (Recoil Reducing Rail)
GAMO’s RRR (Recoil Reducing Rail) is built to protect your optic from the sharp, repetitive shock that high-powered air rifles can generate. Instead of mounting a scope directly to a rigid rail, the RRR uses a two-piece aluminum design with dual polymer struts between the sections to help absorb recoil impulses before they reach the scope.
The goal is simple: less vibration, less stress on internal scope components, and a setup that holds zero more reliably over time. For hunters and serious shooters who depend on their glass, the RRR is a smart upgrade—designed to extend scope life and keep your sight picture where it belongs, shot after shot.
