*Manual Safety: The manual safety is the lever that is in front of the trigger, if you pull it forward, the safety is off, if you pull it backwards (towards the trigger), the safety is on. Please make sure you do not turn the safety off until you are ready to shoot.
Automatic Cocking Safety System: The automatic safety cocking system is a different safety feature than the Manual Safety; it does not allow you to pull the trigger while cocking the air rifle. When you break the barrel this safety system is engaged and when you put the barrel back into position this safety system is disengaged.

The GAMO Shadow Elite shoots a .22 alloy pellet at 1,000 fps, making it an ideal pellet gun for hunting small game, pest control and target practice. It features front and rear fiber optics sights that allow you to pick-off small, hard-to-see targets. Combined with its performance features, the Shadow Elite .22 comes with an all weather molded synthetic stock with rubber inserts on the pistol grip and forearm, and an adjustable cheek piece. The Gamo Shadow Elite .22 functions with a break barrel, a gas piston (Inert Gas Technology) and has the Whisper noise dampening technology.

WHISPER NOISE SUPPRESION
Gamo’s patented Whisper technology leads the air rifle industry in sound suppression. This technology is categorized into three tiers—Whisper, Whisper/Whisper Maxxim and Whisper Fusion—for quiet, quieter, and quietest performance. However, “noise reduction” does not mean “silence,” as sound levels will vary depending upon pellet choice. A lighter, faster and smaller caliber pellet, for instance, will produce a louder sound than a heavier, slower and higher caliber pellet. CAT (Custom Action Trigger)
The revolutionary C.A.T. (Custom Action Trigger) enables Gamo air rifle owners to independently adjust the 1st and 2nd stages of their trigger to tailor the trigger pull and crispness to their personal preference. Simply loosen the 1st stage adjustment screw and the trigger travel increases. If a shorter travel length is desired just tighten the same screw to decrease the 1st Stage travel length. The 2nd Stage Adjustment is made just as easily —unscrew the adjustment setting to increase the 2nd Stage travel length or decrease it by screwing in the same adjustment point.

RECOIL REDUCING RAIL (RRR)

ADJUSTABLE CHEEK PIECE
This air rifle comes with a high-grade synthetic thumbhole stock and adjustable cheek-piece. The cheek-piece can be adjusted up or down and makes the shooting experience definitely more comfortable. It also allows you to adjust it to shoot with open sights or with the scope.
