The GAMO Raptor Whisper IGT is the kind of rifle you grab when you want solid power without a lot of fuss. Available in .177 or .22 caliber, it’s a classic break-barrel, so the routine stays simple—break the barrel, load a pellet, close it up, and you’re ready for the next shot. What makes this model feel different from the typical springer is the IGT gas piston. Instead of a traditional spring, it uses an inert gas strut to deliver a smoother shot cycle with less vibration and long-term durability you can count on.
Noise is also part of the package. The Raptor comes with GAMO’s Whisper sound-dampening system, which helps keep the report down—especially useful if you’re shooting in the backyard or around a property where you’d rather not announce every trigger pull.
For control, you get the SAT trigger with an adjustable second stage, so you can fine-tune the feel once you’ve spent a little time behind it. The barrel is a rifled steel barrel with a fluted, polymer jacket, built to stay rigid and consistent while keeping weight manageable. And since most people are going to scope this rifle anyway, GAMO includes a 4×32 shockproof scope so you can start zeroing and shooting right out of the box.

*Manual Safety: The manual safety is the lever that is in front of the trigger, if you pull it forward, the safety is off, if you pull it backwards (towards the trigger), the safety is on. Please make sure you do not turn the safety off until you are ready to shoot.
Automatic Cocking Safety System: The automatic safety cocking system is a different safety feature than the Manual Safety; it does not allow you to pull the trigger while cocking the air rifle. When you break the barrel this safety system is engaged and when you put the barrel back into position this safety system is disengaged.
