*Manual Safety: The manual safety is the lever that is in front of the trigger, if you pull it forward, the safety is off, if you pull it backwards (towards the trigger), the safety is on. Please make sure you do not turn the safety off until you are ready to shoot.
Automatic Cocking Safety System: The automatic safety cocking system is a different safety feature than the Manual Safety; it does not allow you to pull the trigger while cocking the air rifle. When you break the barrel this safety system is engaged and when you put the barrel back into position this safety system is disengaged.

The Shadow Tactical Maxxim is a .177 tactical rifle that provides the perfect shooting platform for small game hunting and recreational shooting. This air rifle comes with a Gamo adjustable bipod and cheek piece, for improved stability and accuracy when shooting.

The Shadow Tactical Maxxim features the integrated Whisper Maxxim sound suppression technology, keeping shooting noise to the minimum. The Inert Gas Technology delivers steady and consistent power, increasing accuracy and durability with less vibration. The Gamo Shadow Tactical Maxxim incorporates GAMO’s patent pending CAT (Custom Action Trigger), a two-stage adjustable trigger that provides a crisp, clean and smooth trigger pull for improved accuracy. GAMO designed the Shadow Tactical Maxxim with their Recoil Reducing Rail that maximizes the scope lifespan because of its 99.9% recoil compensation designed for high-power air rifles.

WHISPER MAXXIM NOISE SUPPRESION
Gamo’s patented Whisper technology leads the air rifle industry in sound suppression. This technology is categorized into three tiers—Whisper, Whisper Maxxim and Whisper Fusion—for quiet, quieter, and quietest performance. However, “noise reduction” does not mean “silence,” as sound levels will vary depending upon pellet choice. A lighter, faster and smaller caliber pellet, for instance, will produce a louder sound than a heavier, slower and higher caliber pellet. The Whisper Maxxim features two noise dampening chambers, offering a quieter performance as well as an improved muzzle break design. The new muzzle break helps reduce the recoil and is also integrated with the bull barrel. This new technology results in a lightweight, fluted, polymer/steel rifled barrel, integrating one of the latest sound-suppression technologies from Gamo. The Whisper Maxxim takes less space than the Whisper, keeping a better weight balance while making the air rifle quieter.

The IGT™ (Inert Gas Technology™) from Gamo® enhances your hunting or target shooting experience. This technology consists of a pneumatic cylinder that replaces the spring, enabling the shooter to get more terminal velocity (up to 1,300 fps with .177 Cal. Alloy Ammunition and up to 1,000 fps with .22 Cal. Alloy Ammunition), less vibration, more consistent power, and a constant and smooth cocking effort.

CAT (Custom Action Trigger)
The revolutionary C.A.T. (Custom Action Trigger) enables Gamo air rifle owners to independently adjust the 1st and 2nd stages of their trigger to tailor the trigger pull and crispness to their personal preference. Simply loosen the 1st stage adjustment screw and the trigger travel increases. If a shorter travel length is desired just tighten the same screw to decrease the 1st Stage travel length. The 2nd Stage Adjustment is made just as easily —unscrew the adjustment setting to increase the 2nd Stage travel length or decrease it by screwing in the same adjustment point.

RECOIL REDUCING RAIL (RRR)

The RRR was developed to subdue the taxing stresses placed on your scope from the intense recoil of air guns and high-powered rifles. ADJUSTABLE CHEEK PIECE AND BI-POD
This air rifle comes with a high-grade synthetic stock and adjustable cheek-piece. The cheek-piece can be adjusted up or down and makes the shooting experience definitely more comfortable. It also allows you to adjust it to shoot with open sights or with the scope. The Shadow Tactical Maxxim also includes a bi-pod for increased accuracy when shooting.
